Ms. Mirta Consuelo García has an extensive experience supported by three decades of practice in various areas of Private International Law and Civil Law.

Currently, she serves as a Member of the US Embassy’s Attorney List in Argentina, and International Lawyer-Consultant specializing in Private International Law.

She has been distinguished as a Local Expert by the World Bank for the Women, Business and Law (WBL) Project from 2018 to date.

She has also worked as a Professor of Private International Law at Universities of Salvador, Buenos Aires, Torcuato Di Tella and Austral. She has been a member of Thesis Jury, and participated as a lecturer and moderator in several national and international congresses.

She has been a scholarship at the Hague Academy of International Law and Consultant at the Inter-American Juridical Committee (OAS) for the VI and VII Inter-American Conference on Private International Law. She was advisor at the Honorable Chamber of Representatives of the Argentine National Congress.

Currently, she is a member of the Institute of Private International Law of the Public Bar Association in Argentina and the American Bar Association (Committees for Latin American & Caribbean, International Law and Family Law).
